The Cheney Companies' Seacoast NH roots go back to 1961 when a 22-year old Walter Cheney, fresh out of the Air Force, purchased a duplex at the corner of Bay Road and Route 108 in Newmarket. He moved his wife and three kids into one side and rented out the other to help pay the mortgage. Fast forward more than fifty years later and you will find those same children operating an organization with more than a dozen employees and over 500 units.

    Buyer's Agents from Cheney Realty, LLC are specially trained, licensed agents who have your best interests in mind.  As a buyer, you need someone on your side helping you make informed decisions throughout the home purchasing process.

  • What is the process to sign up for the Buyer's Program?

    Simply call the office (603) 659-2303 to set up an appointment with Lisa Nicholson or Heather Andrews.  When you come in, we will explain the whole process, from start to finish. Once you have signed as a client, we'll get started.



  • Can I break my lease early if I purchase a home?

     One of the reasons our Buyer's Program is so successful is because it offers our residents the option of flexible lease end dates.  When we represent you in your purchase, you’re still responsible for regular move out charges, but there is no penalty for ending your lease early. You can have the lease end on the very day you close on your new home purchase if you’d like, with no extra cost to you.

  • Does it cost me anything to use your Buyer's Program?

    Our fee structure for Buyer Clients who are current residents is very reasonable. Contact us for details.

  • Can Cheney Realty agents only show me properties they list?

    Because we are fully licensed Realtors, we can show you any property currently listed for sale in the state of New Hampshire. We take the time to develop a sense of what you are looking for and help you select homes to see.
